The Canada CIFAR AI (CCAI) Chairs Program is the cornerstone program of the CIFAR Pan-Canadian AI Strategy. The goal of the CCAI Chairs Program is to recruit and retain in Canada some of the world’s leading researchers in AI and provide them with long-term, dedicated research funding to support their research and training programs. CIFAR is obligated by the Government of Canada to measure and report on key performance indicators of the Pan-Canadian AI Strategy and CCAI Chairs Program.
Beyond fulfilling our reporting obligations, the narratives and achievements you share are vital for our ongoing communication and advocacy efforts. We actively use your success stories to promote your work across the ecosystem, advocate for sustained funding with stakeholders, and secure broader public recognition for the exceptional impact of Canadian AI research. We are very interested to understand the activities that you and your research teams are undertaking.
